JULY 26-AUGUST 9

This year the Annual Backpack Drive will look a little different. We will not be handing out backpacks for you to fill and return.  Instead we will be having drop off times at church where you can fill a grocery bag with items. Our goal is to fill 500 backpacks. The backpack committee of youth will fill the backpacks and distribute to the community, including the following organizations: Hite Elementary School, Middletown Elementary School, Lighthouse, Home of the Innocents, Centerstone (formerly Uspiritus), and Kentucky Refugee Ministries.

Drop-Off Dates/Times at MCC:
Sunday, July 26th from 5-6pm during the MCC drive thru worship experience
Wed, July 29 from 9-11am
Thurs, July 30 from 6-8pm
Sunday, August 2 from 12-2pm
Wed, August 5 from 9-11am
Thurs, August 6 from 6-8pm
Sunday, August 9 from 12-2pm

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR EACH BACKPACK:
1. 1 package WIDE rule loose paper (150 count or less)
2. 5 One-subject spiral notebooks
3. 2 composition notebooks
4. 1 pack of crayons (24 count)
5. 1 pack pencils (12-24 count)
6. 1 pack colored pencils (12 count)
7. 1 pack of blue or black pens (12-24 count)
8. 1 pack of markers (8 count)
9. 1 pair of scissors
10. 3 glue sticks
11. 5 plastic folders
12. 1 pencil pouch
