In February 2025, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) joined more than a dozen other religious groups in a lawsuit against the current administration’s policy allowing immigration enforcement to make arrests in places of worship. In light of this lawsuit and the many other questions around current immigration realities in the U.S., the Imago Dei Team invites you to join us for a panel discussion on immigration on Wednesday, April 9th at 6:30 PM.
The discussion will focus on the Christian response to immigration, truths/myths about immigration, the current state of immigration in Louisville, and how to love our immigrant neighbors well.
Panelists include Brian Frederick-Gray (Director for Justice & Advocacy Ministries at the Disciples Home Missions), Stenley Mondestin (Executive Director of The Route), Lauren Goldener (church member and Community Engagement Manager for the Kentucky Office for Refugees), and other panelists pending.
Please RSVP below. Contact information is for communication about this event only.
