Not only is church a great place for your kids to build friendships with other kids that can last a lifetime, it’s also an opportunity for kids to connect with adults and leaders. Our elementary school children have their own worship service (Kids Worship) and are introduced to group life. They can also make these connections by singing with their friends on Sunday evenings in the Rock Choir.

What is Kids Worship?

From the mouth of a child in worship, “Kids Worship is like adult worship but funner!” We strive to teach the Bible stories and apply them to each child’s life through silly games, skits, music, and dancing. The children also take communion. Each month there is a new theme and Bible verse, plus new stage decorations which the kids love!

Sunday Night Kids!

5:00-6:30 p.m.
Children in Kindergarten through Grade 5 are invited to join us on Sunday nights for group time and choir.

Each child will attend choir with Amanda O’Mahoney.  In choir they will sing (of course) fun songs and prepare for the Christmas concert and spring musical.  They also do fun choreography and learn music basics.

Kindergarten-2nd grade will attend missions group.  Here they will learn about serving and do activities with mission.

3rd-5th grade will attend a community group.  This will allow them to build friendships and bond.  It will be like a pre-youth group time for them.  They’ll play games and have small group time each week.

What is Rock Choir?

A high-energy choir for children in Kindergarten-Grade 5 that meets on Sunday evenings. Along with learning the basics of singing, we practice with several musical instruments and develop choreography for their performances. The major events for the Rock Choir are singing in the Christmas concerts followed by performing their own musical in the late winter/early spring. Rock Choir is a great way to get involved and make friends while making music and praising God! Questions? Contact Amanda O’Mahoney, Assistant Director of Children’s Ministry.
