In God We Trust: Week Four

In 2024 it will be difficult to find Jesus in the political discourse around us. However, if we look at the stories of Jesus, we will see a person who engaged with the political discourse of his day head on. It is easy for us to think that it is our job as Christians to sit out of politics, but that is not what Jesus did. In 2024 we must acknowledge the parts of Jesus’s story that pushed for social change, equality, and a new kingdom. This week, we will look at what the politics of Jesus mean for us in 2024.
