Circle of Elders

Our Elders provide spiritual oversight to the congregation through prayer, outreach, modeling, and teaching. They covenant together annually to equip and encourage church members to grow toward the Marks of a Disciple, exhibiting spiritual leadership in the following ways:

  • Growing in discipleship
  • Spiritually leading the church in its mission
  • Caring for the congregation
  • Supporting and encouraging ministry staff and one another

Elders provide spiritual support to the staff and congregation, serve at the Lord’s Table, and call all new Elders. Elders serve one year as apprentice elders in a mentoring relationship prior to being presented to the Elders, Board and congregation for ordination.
