What Can You Expect to Hear?
Here at MCC, we offer two separate worship experiences. At our 8:30 Traditional service, you can expect to hear hymns lead from the piano by our Director of Choral Ministries, Scott Burress. This service typically lasts about 45 minutes, is well lit and will be full of smiling faces singing songs that the church has sung for decades.
At our 9:50 and 11:10am Modern services, you can expect to hear new worship songs, songs that you may hear on the radio, and hymns that have been updated for modern audiences. We also have a choir that sings twice a month with our worship band. This service is a little louder and utilizes our lighting system to help our congregants have a meaningful worship experience.
How Can I Get Involved?
We are always looking for singers and musicians who want to join us in praising God with excellence.
If you are interested in learning more about any of our praise bands, contact Charles Allen, our Worship Arts Minister, at [email protected].
Adult choirs provide music on the second and fourth Sunday of each month (with seasonal exceptions). Choirs prepare anthems of various musical styles for worship services, concerts, and special events. The combined choirs present a major Christmas concert with orchestra every December.
There are no auditions or specified levels of experience required to be a part of the adult choirs at Middletown Christian Church. All are welcome to praise and worship God through singing!
