The beatitudes are one of the core teachings of our faith and offer insight into what it means to be a Christ follower. This summer, we’re exploring what they mean and why Jesus taught that blessed are the poor in Spirit, those who mourn, the meek, those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, the merciful, the pure in heart, the peacemakers, those who people revile, persecute, and utter all kinds of evil against on his account.
