UPDATE NOV 1, 2020
Over the last few weeks, Kentucky has seen a sharp rise in positive COVID-19 cases, and Jefferson County is classified as a red county. In light of this information and out of an abundance of caution and love, the Healthy at Church team, MCC Board, and staff have decided to suspend in-person worship gathering until further notice. This is effective starting Sunday, November 8.
We will continue to gather weekly as a church for worship online at 11 AM. We know this is a difficult decision for many, but we believe it is the right one and is another way we live out the love of Christ in our community.
We look forward to the day when we can gather again in-person for worship, and we will stay up-to-date with the latest information from state and local health departments. In the meantime, we will continue to be the church, just as we have throughout this pandemic.
UPDATE OCT 26, 2020
As Covid cases in our area continue to rise, the Healthy at Church team, in collaboration with church leadership, will evaluate whether we can continue to worship in-person on a week to week basis. Any changes in schedule will be distributed via email, social media, and our web site.

Worship Walk Through Video
Sundays will look a little different on campus, so we put together a video showing you what to expect from start to finish. Click the photo above to view the video.
NEW TIME: Online Worship is at 11 AM
Beginning 10/11, online worship will be at 11 AM on Zoom and Facebook Live. We are doing this to align our congregation worshiping in-person with our congregation worshiping online. Though we are worshiping from different places, we will be worshiping as one church family.
The online service will continue to be high-quality and align thematically with the in-person service. The in-person service will be more traditional in music style, and the online service will be more contemporary in music style.
Criteria to Remain Open: Follow along with us!
If one of the following indicators occurs prior to any Sunday, the Healthy at Church Advisory Team will be consulted to assist the Mitigation Team in determining if we can move forward with in-person worship. If two or more indicators occur in-person worship will be postponed until measures return to acceptable levels:
- Test positive percentage over 5% (https://govstatus.egov.com/kycovid19)
- Government recommendation of suspension of church services (https://govstatus.egov.com/kycovid19)
- 7-day upward trend on new cases occurs (https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/testing/individual-states/kentucky)
