DESCRIPTION:Middletown Christian Church will have a booth at the Louisville Pride Festival on Saturday\, Sept. 6th from 11 AM-5 PM. Volunteers will staff the booth for one hour time slots. Volunteers are a friendly\, welcoming presence for festival attendees\, providing info about Middletown and giving out freebies. Festival takes place on Bardstown Rd. \nPlease wear a Middletown t-shirt if possible. DESCRIPTION:Join Us at the Middletown Family Fun Festival – Sept. 5 & 6! \nBe part of the 53rd annual Middletown Family Fun Festival on Main Street—a weekend filled with games\, live music\, food trucks\, and local vendors. \nMiddletown Christian Church will have its own booth\, and we need friendly volunteers to help make it a success! This is a wonderful chance to connect with our neighbors\, share information about MCC\, and hand out fun giveaways. \nVolunteer Roles: \n\nAll shifts: Greet festival visitors\, share MCC info\, and distribute freebies.\nOpening shifts: Help with booth setup.\nClosing shifts: Assist with booth tear down.\n\nSet Up/Tear Down Details: Volunteers should be able to help assemble a 10×10 canopy tent and lift/move equipment. \nIf possible\, please wear a Middletown shirt to show your MCC spirit! \nSign up here to volunteer!

DESCRIPTION:The Stephen Ministry Program of Middletown Christian Church invites you to become part of the Exploring Grief Discussion Group\, which will be held each Wednesday evening from 6-7:30 p.m. beginning September 3 through October 1 in Room 125. \nThis five-week group will be led by Stephen Ministers Sarah Paris and Kay Aldridge. \nThe loss of a loved one can be confusing and overwhelming. You may find yourself surprised by the feelings that surface in the days\, weeks\, and even months following this loss. These feelings can sneak up on you\, even if you’ve had some distance from the time of the loss. \nAs you move forward with your life while continuing to remember your loved one\, we want you to know that your faith community at Middletown Christian Church loves you. SUMMARY:MCC Choir Kick Off
DESCRIPTION:If you love to sing\, join our choir! Our first rehearsal is Sunday\, August 24th at 6 p.m. \nChildren’s and youth programming will be available for Sunday night rehearsals starting on September 7th. All are welcome to sing. No auditions or musical experience is required. \nThe choir sings for Sunday services twice a month and special events like the annual Christmas concert. It’s a great way to get involved in the church and make new friends.
