Passport: Missions is an amazing week of summer camp with a focus on outreach and what it means to be part of the bigger family of God as we serve\, worship\, learn – and of course\, have fun – alongside youth from other likeminded churches from around the country. And this year\, we’re at a new location as we’ll head out to Lees-McRae College in North Carolina. It’s going to be a great week\, and we hope your student will join us! SUMMARY:Buddy Break & Mosaic Ministry Training
DESCRIPTION:If you are interested in serving in our Buddy Break or Mosaic Ministry\, please plan to attend our required training. This training will equip volunteers to confidently and compassionately serve children and families affected by special needs.\nBuddy Break is a once-a-month ministry that meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM. It serves families in our community with neurodivergent children by providing a safe\, fun environment for the kids while giving caregivers a much-needed three-hour break.\nMosaic Ministry meets every Sunday during the 11:10 service and allows caregivers to fully participate in worship\, knowing their children are being lovingly cared for in a supportive and understanding environment.\n📅 Training Date: Monday\, June 29\n⏰ Time: 6:00–8:00 PM\n⏳ Length: 2-hour training\nWhether you are new to special needs ministry or have served before\, this training is an important step in preparing to serve our families well.
