Middletown is passionate about caring for our homeless neighbors. Sweet Evening Breeze is a local non-profit that cares for LGBTQ+ people experiencing homelessness. In addition to mental health counseling and housing services, Sweet Evening Breeze distributes 70 care packages a month at different homeless camps around the city. We have an opportunity to help them by providing care packages they can give to those who need them.

Using the provided shopping list, you can buy gallon Ziploc bags and make as many care packages as you would like. Each bag does not have to contain all of the items on the list, but should have something from each category. Once you have assembled the care packages, you can drop them off in the bin in front of the church office from September 18-September 26. Please do not donate individual items. We need assembled care packages only.

This is a great opportunity for families to serve together, as well as those who have limitations in body or schedule and are not able to be physically present for some outreach opportunities.
