You are the church, and ministry cannot happen without your help.

Eager to serve but don’t know where to start? You’re in the right place!

Below is information about all the volunteer opportunities for different areas of ministry at Middletown. Simply email the contact person for each opportunity, and we’ll help get you plugged in to your area of interest.

Don’t see what you’re looking for? Contact Corey Miller, Outreach Minister.

Welcome Team Volunteer

Become a part of our Welcome Team, ensuring everyone has a warm greeting at each one of our services. Each week we need three sanctuary door greeters, two outside door greeters, a newcomer host, and 2 floaters. If you are new to the church, this is a great way to meet new people. You can sign up to participate as often as it works for your schedule weekly, biweekly, every other month, or particular dates where you know you are available to help. Contact Office Manager Shelley Spillman, and we will put you on the schedule to serve on our Welcome Team!

Children’s Ministry

Volunteer to help in Children’s worship on Sunday mornings, lead a small group, or help with special events.  If you’re interested, please contact Director of Children’s Ministry Amanda O’Mahoney.

Green Team

We are lucky enough to have a dedicated team of volunteers who mow the lawn and help maintain our beautiful grounds. If you have a green thumb and you would be interested in joining our Green Team, contact Facilities & Grounds Manager, Aaron Williams.

Office Volunteer

Do you have some free time and enjoy meeting people? We have a team of office volunteers Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. -12 p.m. and 12 p.m. -3 p.m. who serve at the front desk to greet guests and answer the phone. Our office volunteers help make MCC a welcoming environment for all! If you can’t commit on a weekly basis, that’s okay, you can always serve as an alternate in the event that a regular office volunteer is on vacation, sick, or otherwise unable to be there on their usual day. If you are interested in learning more about becoming an office volunteer, contact Office Manager Shelley Spillman.

Van Ministry

We are working to get our Van Ministry up and running again where we can offer transportation to seniors to Sunday services, special events like our Christmas concert, and once a month community outings for our friends next door at the Christian Care Communities. If you would like to learn more about volunteering with the Van Ministry, contact Office Manager Shelley Spillman.

Audio/Visual Tech

Join our Worship Team as an A/V tech! Our A/V techs serve an integral role in maintaining a quality worship experience every Sunday. No experience is necessary. We can teach you all you need to know! If you’re interested in this opportunity, contact Contemporary Worship Director Brando Hall.

Youth Ministry

Volunteer to lead small group on Sunday mornings or nights, help with special events, and more. Contact our Youth Ministry, Becky Schroeder if interested.
