Middletown Christian Church will sponsor its first Senior Home Health Services Mall in an effort to address home health issues of seniors and those who care for them. We have gathered health care and senior service specialists who will be available to meet with individuals and provide information about a wide variety of services.

Over the years we have heard from our congregation and people in our community that adult children caring for aging parents or seniors themselves need and want to be able to stay in their homes as long as possible.  Finding information and resources that will make this possible can be a laborious task and we’re making it easier!

Providers will be available with information about:

• Non-Medical Home Care
• Medical Home Care
• Life line emergency alert systems
• End of Life Care
• Medicine Dispensing Equipment
• Meal Deliveries
• Financial Management Assistance
• Reverse Mortgage Information
• Travel Assistance – for the traveler with special needs
• Adult Daycare
• Caption Calling for Hearing impaired.
• Medicare/Medicaid Information
• Downsizing and Home Transition Assistance
• Support Groups and individual support caregivers

In addition to these topics, there will be a resource table with information from a variety of care providers.

Flu shots will be administered by personnel from Christian Care Communities on a first-come, first-served basis. Flu shots will be free to Medicare and Medicare Plus clients.  For all others, shots will be $25.00.

Join us on Saturday, October 29 from 10AM – 2PM at Middletown Christian Church at 500 N. Waterson Trail and explore senior health services in our community – all designed to keep you in your own home for as long as possible.
